| MESSAGE: | In response to Kremnacroats entry: Florian will NOT be doing a solo project. This quote comes from Ralf's interview by the New Zealand Herald where Ralf mentioned that Florian was involved in "other projects"..."technical things". This was misinterpreted by the media to mean that Florian has solo projects lined up. This is NOT the case. The above quote was in reference to Florian doing projects for Kraftwerk. Of course, now that Florian has left, this is no longer the case. By my reckoning, Florian has decided to retire completely and has decided to make a "clean break" from Kling-Klang etc. I boubt it very much that you will hear music from Florian. This would destroy the bands carefully nurtured mystique.

| MESSAGE: | Another opinion on Florian's departure: I think that both Ralf and Florian's idea was that Kraftwerk would continue as a continuing concept, even when all the original members of the band had left. This is why they have always stressed that the line-up or the members of the band are ultimately unimportant. In other words, that Kraftwerk is an idea which continues and never stops no matter who is in the band. Florain leaving is sad but it doesn't stop the idea or concept. Which is what Ralf and Florian originally intended. |

| MESSAGE: | It is indeed a sad day for all Kraftwerk fans that, finally, we know that Florian is no longer with Kraftwerk.
He was the technical genius, the sound-fetishist, the innovator and the sounding board for all of Ralf's melodies.
Kraftwerk will never be the same again as it was with him. I only hope that they will be something new and vibrant with new innovation and melody.
Personally I have experienced their new line up live and I think it is more raw and has more energy and movement.
So lets wait and see. |

| MESSAGE: | …attended last-nights concert here in Dublin - superb and stunning as ever despite the sound itself being too-high and the bass being far too-heavy, not too mention also having too stand in a wet and muddy field (within a tent) for the concert itself and having too endure that heavy Techno music - my ears are still sore, while the problems with closing that curtain delayed the encore and great too hear a fantastic version of Showroom Dummies live. But, I would prefer too see Kraftwerk live during one of their own tours and at that one that one was that in-doors, would also like to see some other views of the concert itself. Great site, keep-up the excellent work. |

This was my second time to see the band they certainly do not disappoint.
Fantastic show as usual the only exception was that Florian was not there.
Set was the same as minimum-maximum but not in same running order and with the addition of Showroom Dummies.
Brilliant site keep up the good work. |

| MESSAGE: | I saw both Canadian shows.Outstanding.I've never seen anything like it before.I've been waiting all my life to see them.I have all the bootlegs so I knew every musical note.To see it live and with everything coming together was just amazing.
The Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto was not a great venue to play at with it being a hockey arena but they pulled it off.
The big arena (5000 capacity)looked full.I met people from New Zealand, Las Vegas and the UK who had all come to see this show.A wonderful crowd-a mixture of all ages with a huge percentage of young people.Kraftwerk seemed to really enjoy the show.Ralf even laughed and joked with Henning half way through.Fritz sighed a few times-perhaps he is tired of all these shows.
Montreal was even better.A sell out Metropolis was the perfect venue with a tight sold out capacity of 2500 with the crowd sloping down to the stage.This made the music more penetrative.The crowd were really hyped up for this and were fantastic.They loved Ralf singing Pocketcalculator in French.Henning really let go in his solo bit in Music Non Stop.A stunning show with a wonderful noisey appreciative crowd. I'm sure Kraftwerk loved playing here.
The opening is spectacular particularly when you see them through the curtain.Radioactivity is frightening.The green suits look great.They let the mad base melody of Numbers really go aswell and repeated it to the crowds delight.Really good hard techno.The film sequence of Metal on Metal was timed to perfection.
