MESSAGE:Kratwerk are a unique phenomenon, real honest to goodness androids with hearts,it's true I saw them back in '74 when I was a kid in Munich.I crept backstage without a pass and saw their roadies actually dismantling the band members and packing them away for their next gig!I'm kidding of course, they say Germans haven't got a sense of humour, they have,a very suble form in this groups' case,I watched them on an English science show back in the time of Autobahn and they were smiling!Yeah, they're humans alright.

MESSAGE:I saw Kraftwerk at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester recently. It was a most extraordinary experience. The music was sublime, the sound quality was perfect and the visuals were fantastic. Along with a dynamic guest appearance by the British Olympic Cycling Team (for Tour de France) and Bang on a Can playing a new Steve Reich composition as support act - what can I say? The kraftwerk.technopop.com.br is a brilliant site and pulls together a wide range of material about the most influential band of the 20th and 21st Century - well done and keep up the good work.

MESSAGE:Hi I was at Electric Picnic 2005 and had a fantastic time. I've just booked a ticket for the 2007 one, although very expensive, seeing that ticketmaster had none left. Having missed the 2006 one, settling to watch it on RTE 2 instead. Highlights of 2005 for me, Toots and the Maytals (although a synth replaced the Brass section), LCD Soundsystem, Kraftwerk, Goldfrapp, Nick Cave, Royscopp(is that spelt right), Fat boy slim, Too Many DJs, Tommy Teirnan, Yesmen(cinema), silent disco, pear cider, good good green, and quite a few other acts and things. Anyways have a good one, all the best, Niall

MESSAGE:Have recently re-discovered my love of Kraftwerk! Been listening since school days of 1980-1983. Most people thought I was weird! Myself and a few friends were the only fans in a school of 700 kids. Glad we were the only 'enlightened few'! Just watched the minimum maximum dvd and it brought back some great memories of my youth. Even at the age of 39, the music still gives me goosebumps!!

MESSAGE:In 1981, my brother's girlfriend lent him a copy of the new 'Computer World' album. I was 9 years old.

The cover was fascinating, the German element was captivating, the music was stunning. 'Numbers' just blew me away. By my teens I was desperately hunting for their previous records (knowing nothing of their history), piecing together this glorious jig-saw.

25 years later, their music seems to be even better. I have composed several orchestral pieces dedicated to them, and was fortunate enough at the Brixton gig 1991, for Ralf to hand me his keyboard to play! A photograph of this momentous moment was published in 'Blick'.

They are the most important musical figures since Beethoven.

MESSAGE:Just wanna say I am a regular visitor to this site. Its amazing and so much work has gone into this!! It is so kind to let kraftwerk fans out there know about news on kraftwerk.

I went to see them live July 1st 2005 in Holland at the Tilburg 0.13, the show was amazing. Much better than the previous one I went to at brixton acedemy because of the smallest little things they did to their tracks made it sound completely different from the year before.

I hope so much they will realease more material and keep on werking. Im awating news for a new tour for 2006 as I cant go any longer without a concert!!

Thank you very much

MESSAGE:Hi,
I was in Liverpool today at the Tate Gallery, At the moment they have an exhibition on at the moment about the pyscadelic era of the 60's, In 1 room the walls are covered in colourful designs from the 60's, In this room, there a 3 huge TV’s. When I went in, On 1 TV. There were just pictures of people dancing, on the next TV it had the video for 'Radioactivity', on the next one it had the video for trans-Europe express on with the song Trans-Europe Express Blaring out. The Exhibition Doesn’t Have Anything to Do with Kraftwerk, but I Highly recommend it.

Does anyone know if Kraftwerk will be releasing a live CD/DVD of this tour? Some of the remixed versions of their songs were amaxing and I would love to get hold of a copy, I know there will be bootlegs but will they be releasing an official version?

Thanks.

MESSAGE:Hi, i have been an avid listener of Kraftwerk since 1981 when kraftwerk released 'The Model' single. It was through Kraftwerk that i become such a listener of Electronic music. Most of the music i listen to is Electronic. I believe if it wasn't for the Teutonic Quartet of Kraftwerk, my listening ability to music would be null and void.

I am a mture student studying at the University of Glasgow in Scotland and i have discovered that Kraftwerk are going to be playing live in the very place i am studying. I do find this unbelievable!

If there is any other Kraftwerk Machines out there, please do give me a message. Any information would be appreciated.

MESSAGE:Message for Mara & Jansku. I would be interested to know something about the versions / mixes used at the concert, bearing in mind that much of the material will be pre-sequenced, for minimum "human interference"! For example, was "Expo 2000" the "slow" version, or their own later remix, or even someone else's (e.g. DJ Rolando); was "TDF 2003" the "single" version, or "Etape 2" from the album; was "TDF" sung in French or German; Were "Autobahn" and "Robots" the versions from "The Mix"; was "Pocket Calculator" sung in English of German? Ect. etc.
Thanks.

When I heard the new TDF 2003 single I have to say I was a little disappointed, but I'm glad to say the Long Distance version is better, no matter what, I'll be in the queue for the next concert, can't wait to hear the rest of the album.

MESSAGE:Hello everybody. I think that Kraftwerk are absolutely amazing, ever since my friend Matthew told me more about them I haven't stopped liking them. I have listened to some of the albums released already, for example Autobahn and The Mix and I think they produced some great music and inspired many people over the past 30 years. I have a lot of their songs on my compilation CDs and I like to listen to them every now and then. Earlier today, I looked on the Top 40 Charts and I saw Tour De France 2003 at Number 20 and I nearly jumped off of my sofa I was sitting on and I heard about Communication (the new album) and I was so happy because they're coming back. Also when I viewed some of their work on the internet (like "the robots") I was amazed by the work that they did and their songs are really good to listen to, a very nice melody and rhythm and song title. So Ralf, Florian, if you read this, I must admit that you are the "GREATEST"and I hope that your revival in the music business will be a successful one. I'm wishing you all the best.

Michael Stokes

MESSAGE:Hi everyone, i am from the UK and Tour de France 03 has just been released this week.

I have to say i find it very dissapointing and is so very different from the original. I would even have to say it is very dull !!!!!! I have been a big fan since 1981 and have like everything before then and up to now except this new re-work of their classic hit. I hope the new album will be much better and isn't just another re-hash of old tunes !!!!!!!

Kraftwerk used to be te leading edge in electronic and dance music now they just follow!!!!! - sad to have to say that.

So come on boys we know you can do better.
